What do Joe Namath, Mike Ditka, Tony Dorsett, Pete Marovich and I have in common? Well, we were all born and raised in an area about 25 miles north of Pittsburgh called Beaver County. I didn’t play professional football or basketball, but I was a secretarial star at the Community College of Beaver County where I also completed a number of courses in business and office practice.

After moving to Florida in 1991, I was employed as a receptionist at a local funeral home and then served in the ‘front desk’ capacity at Royal Palms. After a sojourn as a move-in coordinator and marketing director at another Florida retirement community, I returned to Royal Palms and have served in my present position for more than three years.
